DENIED BOARDING/DELAYS/CANCELLATION
Since Transylvania Airport comes under EU Member State laws; EC Regulation 261/2004 entitles Transylvania Airport passengers to claim compensation up to 600€ from the airlines if their flight was delayed on arrivals for 3 or more hours, or if their flight was cancelled at Transylvania Airport Tîrgu-Mureș. Under EC Regulation 261/2004 European Union air passenger’s rights, which was passed in the year 2005; air passengers are entitled to receive compensation from the airlines for the inconvenience caused due to flight cancellations without prior notice of 2 weeks; flight delays over 3 hours; denied boarding due to overbooked flights; missing the connecting flights due to current flight delays or for any technical issues.
The following circumstances are typically not considered within the scope of an airline’s responsibility, and therefore, would not be covered by the laws in place: strikes initiated by airport employees or air traffic control, political unrest, inclement weather, security risks.
Depending on the circumstances, you are entitled to assistance (catering, communication means, and an overnight stay if applicable) from the airline. If you are denied boarding or if the flight is cancelled, you can choose to continue your trip or get a refund of your ticket.

Low-cost airlines are generally companies that offer tickets at lower costs by eliminating traditional services offered to passengers. Airlines of this type are subject to the same regulation EC no. 261/2004 of the European Parliament and Council on the rights of passengers. Both traditional airlines as well as for low-cost ticket is evidence the contract of carriage between Carrier / Airline and the Passenger whose name is entered on the ticket.
